Starting Services

MasterCare is here so individuals can live independently in their own home. MasterCare has services available from just a few hours a day up to 24 hour live in care.

Contact MasterCare for a complimentary in-home assessment. During this meeting with you and/or your family, the geriatric social worker will assess your individual needs. We will discuss things like:

Do you have any allergies?

Are you taking any medications?

What are your favorite foods?

What are your expectations for home care?

After the assessment, the social worker will develop a comprehensive home care plan tailored to meet your needs. This will include specifics on personal care, household care, healthcare and activities the caregiver is expected to perform on their shift.

Once the assessment is completed, MasterCare will match the most appropriate caregiver based on experience, skills and personality for each individual's situation. MasterCare will provide an orientation for the new caregiver where we discuss all the information covered in the initial assessment.

The following services are available through MasterCare

Services are available hourly, daily, overnight, short-term respite and 24 hour live in care.

Personal Care

Toileting, dressing, bathing, exercise and range of motion.

Chores

Light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, vacuuming, pet care, meal preparation, taking out the trash.

Meals

Planning meals, preparing meals, grocery shopping.

Transportation

Medical appointments, hairdresser/barber, shopping, visiting friends and relatives, scenic drives.

Respite/Respite to Caregivers

Relief while on vacation, overnight stays.

Moving

Packing and unpacking, hanging pictures, downsizing.
