What is non-medical in home care?
As we age we need additional assistance, fortunately, MasterCare allows individuals the ability to age in their own home.  Non-Medical home care provides personal assistance to help individuals remain healthy and independent.  Non-medical home care is available in an individuals home, assisted living, adult family home or nursing facility.  Care is available for short-term respite, hourly, overnight or 24 hour live in care.

How do I start services?
Contact MasterCare for a complementary in-home Assessment. During this meeting with you and/or your family, the geriatric social worker will assess your individual needs.

After the assessment, the social worker will develop a comprehensive home care plan tailored to meet your needs. This will include specifics on personal care, household care, healthcare and activities the caregiver is expected to perform on their shift.

Once the assessment is completed, MasterCare will match the most appropriate caregiver based on experience, skills and personality for each individual's situation. MasterCare will provide an orientation for the new caregiver where we discuss all the information covered in the initial assessment.
